A core area of LMC’s business is project engineering for offshore transport and installation. Since 2001, LMC has held a frame agreement with Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) of the Netherlands, who are the largest offshore lifting contractor in the industry.

Spread moorings
LMC designed a spread mooring system for use by Santa Fe Snyder (Devon Energy) to provide an FSO for production on the Carauna Field, offshore Brazil in very shallow water, 15m. LMC was also contracted by the conversion yard to carry out detailed design of the conversion of the vessel to an FSO.
